In this presentation, Nick Payne will talk about how investors can position their portfolios to take advantage of the opportunities in the world’s technological plumbing, as many of the world’s leading players are found in emerging markets. Next-gen technologies such as 5G, smart homes, smart cities, driverless cars, wearable technology, AI and robotics all rely on the latest chips and data infrastructure, with huge amounts of R&D and capex spend helping drive innovation. Separating the winners from the also-rans through active stock-picking will be key to achieving long-term outperformance.
